Holiday Wishes from Kenya

Dear friends,

Please receive my Happy and Hope filled Holidays wishes from Kenya even as we are surrounded by never ending news of weather devastations and avoidable violence.

My first month in Rabuor went quickly because of the activities of the heart which I focused on since my arrival on October 6th. Mwanzo teachers and staff were busy preparing our grade 6 and 8 students for their end of October final national exams before they advance to junior high and high school. At the same time, the community was busy ensuring that our pre-primary school graduation party was the best it could be.

Though we are sad that the grade 8 students whom we dearly love will leave us to join high school come January 2024, our connection and relationships with the students does not end. So, we turned our sadness into a dance of gratitude for the opportunity we had to be involved in these young lives knowing we will see them again. Thank you for continuing to be our circle of hope and for walking alongside Mwanzo. Best wishes to you!
