Mwanzo Community Center
Building Community
In response to community-identified needs, we are embarking on a capital campaign to build a community center in Rabuor Village. This three-story building will house Mwanzo's Early Childhood Development (ECD) program, a computer lab with internet services, a health clinic, a library, a multi-purpose room, and Mwanzo's Kenya office. The outside of the building is now complete, and we are working to furnish the interior.
February 2024: the exterior of the building is complete, and we are beginning to furnish the rooms. We have just completed a ramp so that the center will be accessible for more members of our community.
We’ve added a third story in order to provide more services to the community!
The second floor was completed several months ago!
We have completed the foundation and first-floor walls thanks to our amazing donors and One Days Wages.
Construction has been funded!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors and the hard work of the Rabuor community, we successfully raised the funding to build the community center building! Thank you! We are now raising funds to furnish the rooms, including the community computer lab and the health clinic.
